Public display and electronic signage are terms used to refer to video or computer displays in public spaces such as department stores or railway stations. As we live in a more media rich and competitive environment than ever before we expect an ever increasing amount technology from advertisers and shops to gain our attention.

The world famous advertisements such as those in Piccadilly Circus in London or Times Square in New York are very much at the forefront of public display, whilst in-store systems are becoming more commonplace. Our systems can be programmed to respond to all sorts of scenarios. Should the fire alarm sounds all screens could display emergency information to nearest exits or a message displaying a routine alarm test.
In corporate environments electronic signage is used for internal marketing / communication, share pricing, Health and Safety bulletins or to display the canteen menu at lunch time. It is also often integrated with voice evacuation systems.
Other public systems include Induction Loops and Hearing Assistance systems which form part of co-ordinated public address system.
